After Mukuni, Kamwi was one of the first schools to receive support from the butterfly Tree. A particularly poor community, Kamwi children have very little prospects unless they receive an education. In the past four years the charity has funded a bore hole, a feeding program, a classroom, which has enabled the school to upgrade from grades four to seven and a teacher’s house complete with latrines. A number of pupils are on the orphan sponsorship program and community houses have been built for widows with orphans.
