Zambia is no exception.\u00a0Many of<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>orphans we sponsored from 2006 completed high school, some have sought employment,<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>while others advanced to further education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;\">Over\u00a0fifty orphans, who achieved their goals, are\u00a0now working<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>in schools, hotels and other establishments.\u00a0Currently,<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>six\u00a0students are attending teaching and agricultural colleges, all sponsored by The Butterfly Tree, thanks to\u00a0the generous support from our donors.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12474\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/wp-content\/images\/P1060588.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12474\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-12474 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/wp-content\/images\/P1060588-500x375.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/wp-content\/images\/P1060588-500x375.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/wp-content\/images\/P1060588-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/wp-content\/images\/P1060588-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/wp-content\/images\/P1060588-1x1.jpg 1w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12474\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">BRIDGET, TRAINING TO BE A TEACHER<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;\">Those\u00a0who have not yet had chance to go college\u00a0are\u00a0encouraged to volunteer for both the charity and the community. The group, known as Mukuni Youth Empowerment, goes into schools educating the pupils about the dangers and issues they are faced with.
