In the brief time I knew him I believe that he was a great man who was totally dedicated to his people and respected by all who knew him. During my visit to <a title=\"Mukuni\" href=\"\/pages\/our-work\/mukuni\/\" target=\"_self\">Mukuni<\/a> in September 2007 I spent many days travelling around the community with him and admired his dedication and committment.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8599\" style=\"width: 485px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8599\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/wp-content\/images\/Mukuni-Prime-Minister-475x356.jpg\" alt=\"Mukuni Prime Minister\" width=\"475\" height=\"356\" class=\"size-large wp-image-8599\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-8599\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mukuni Prime Minister<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Quite noticeably he was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by everyone. <!--more-->I felt very honoured to have Shadreck Mabote serving on The Butterfly Tree committee; his input was invaluable and I personally will miss him very much.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was deeply saddened to learn that Shadreck Mabote, the Prime Minister of the Mukuni Chiefdom, passed away yesterday.
