Our sincere apologies to the people who did not get their funds matched. If you would still like to make the donation please use our secure on line <a title=\"Donate\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/get-involved\/online-donations\/\">donation<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<p>December 6th: received further donations for the Big Give Christmas Challenge, taking our total to \u00a37,840<\/p>\n<p>December 5th &#8211; today at 10.00 GMT we managed to raise \u00a36,015 of the \u00a310,000 needed to reach our target . On Thursday and Friday we have more opportunities to <strong>double<\/strong> donations through the <a title=\"The Big Give Christmas Challenge\" href=\"http:\/\/content.thebiggive.org.uk\/christmas-challenge-supporters\/\">Big Give Christmas Challenge<\/a> for our orphan support programme. Thank you to everyone who has offered to participate and to the donors who have already pledged money.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_9528\" style=\"width: 485px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/wp-content\/images\/CIMG8700.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9528\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-9528\" alt=\"CIMG8700\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thebutterflytree.org.uk\/pages\/wp-content\/images\/CIMG8700-475x356.jpg\" width=\"475\" height=\"356\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-9528\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pupils at Muchimbale Community School will receive support from the challange<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Millions of pounds are on offer from the Big Give. In this case The Butterfly Tree Orphan Support project.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span>On your chosen project\u2019s profile, click on the \u201cDonate Online Now\u201d button.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span>On this page, you will see whether there are currently funds available to double your donation \u2013 remember that this may have changed by the time you click \u2018submit\u2019 so this will be confirmed on the next page. If you would like to make a donation, enter the amount you wish to donate in the box provided.<strong>Remember to tick the \u2018Yes\u2019 box to claim Gift Aid if you are an eligible taxpayer.<\/strong>\u00a0Then click \u2018Submit\u2019.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span>You will now either be shown a \u2018reservation\u2019 page which tells you that funds have been reserved to match your donation, or you will be shown a page which states that your donation will not be doubled and asks you to confirm that you understand this.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span>You will then be taken to the card payment page to finalise your donation. You will need your credit or debit card and must complete all boxes with a \u2018*\u2019 next to them. Please note you will be required to enter an email address.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span>Once you have completed all of the necessary boxes, click \u2018Submit\u2019 at the bottom of the page to process your donation.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span>You may now be taken to a 3D Secure site to complete your donation.
