THE BUTTERFLY TREE CHARITY, FOUNDED IN 2006, HELPS TO TRANSFORM THE LIVES OF ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE LIVING IN RURAL ZAMBIA, AFFECTED BY THE HIV AND AIDS PANDEMIC, MALARIA AND CLIMATE CHANGE. WE PROVIDE CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION, FEEDING PROGRAMMES, HEALTH AND EDUCATION FACILITIES, MEDICAL AND SPORTS EQUIPMENT. WE PROVIDE MALARIA PREVENTION, METHODS, SUSTAINABLE INCOME-GENERATING COMMUNITY PROJECTS, SPECIAL EDUCATION AND AN ORPHAN SUPPORT PROGRAMME. WHEN NEEDED WE ARE PROVIDE EMERGENCY RELIEF. ALL FUNDS GO DIRECTLY TO THE CAUSE. NO ADMINISTRATION FEES ARE DEDUCTED. ALL MEMBERS BOTH IN THE UK AND ZAMBIA ARE VOLUNTEERS.
