Orphan Sponsorship

In Zambia there are 710,000 orphans. 33,000 children are infected with the HIV virus. Orphan sponsorship provides an education for these vulnerable children.

THE BUTTERFLY TREE CHARITY SUPPORTS RURAL COMMUNITIES IN ZAMBIA DECIMATED BY THE HIV AND AIDS PANDEMIC - PROVIDING SAFE WATER, FEEDING PROGRAMS, IMPROVED HEALTH AND EDUCATION FACILITIES, MALARIA PREVENTION, SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY PROJECTS AND AN ORPHAN SUPPORT PROGRAM – ALL FUNDS GO DIRECTLY TO THE CAUSE – NO ADMINISTRATION FEES ARE DEDUCTED  - ALL MEMBERS ARE VOLUNTEERS.

Water is life without it nothing can survive - we provide bore holes for communities and schools replacing water from crocodile infested rivers and bacteria infected streams

Food is vital for development and concentration - we provide feeding progams in schools and formula for infants suffering from malnutrition

Health improvements - we provide funding for malaria prevention and HIV/AIDS programs in rural clinics, maternity care, medical supplies and treatment for sick children

Education

Education is the key - we provide an orphan sponsorship program, supporting over 500 African children in addition to building classrooms, teachers' houses and latrines
